My obsession with Madeline Weinrib’s Black Mu ikat print borders on ridiculous, so my jaw nearly dropped when I received a peek at Pottery Barn’s fall preview and I feasted my eyes on their own more affordable and accessible black and white ikat printed textiles.
After deciding that purchasing the quilt, shams and toss cushions in one fell swoop would be too impulsive and irresponsible considering I’m trying to budget for a major house reno, I decided to contain myself and order only two of the Kasari throw pillows for my living room sofa.
The throw cushions are embroidered, giving them that extra depth, and I love the large scale of the 24×24 cushion on my tufted sofa. Don’t they look right at home?
PS- Now Edmonton locals can also get their Pottery Barn fix when a new location opens at West Edmonton Mall on September 22.
