The One of a Kind Spring Show & Sale wrapped up last weekend and I have to say that this year’s event was a completely new experience for me. Not only was I participating in the show as media, but also as an exhibitor.
While my own booth kept me pretty busy, I did have a chance to walk around and chat with many of the other exhibitors.
I’ll be sharing my top 8 fave discoveries from the show, over two posts.
Let’s kick things off today with my first 4 picks…
1. Evann Frisque

Evann Frisque is a textile artist, who hand felts, draws, and silk-screens her own unique brand of original art. She adds unexpected details to each piece in the form of neon stitching, buttons, found materials, and even electrical components.
Shown here are her one of a kind journal covers that deliver a lot more personality than the average variety.
I had the pleasure of being placed next to Evann’s booth in the Rising Stars section. We had a lot of time to talk and get to know more about each other’s methods. Don’t be surprised to see us collaborate in the future.
