eat more fruit

Berry baskets are nothing new…BUT I love when I stumble upon new designs and shapes. You’ll often see the classics, like the two on the right in the image below – but rarely have I found full sided ceramic baskets. I was so happy to find this collection online. Read on to see where to buy. It’s a larger size (just under 6″ square) so it’s quite a practical size for storing food in your fridge or kitchen pantry.

for the big and the small

Are you a To-Do list maker like myself? Writing down things I need to get done makes me feel more organized (even though sometimes the lists just sit on my desk for a couple weeks…). If you’re anything like me though, half the fun is picking the notebook that you use. I love the dip dye effect on the front of these french inspired books. The two sizes are great – the large book for your ‘Grand’ lists that you can keep at your desk and the ‘Petite’ book to pop in your purse. Read on to learn where you can get this fab find.

the perfect salad dressing helper

Along with recently jumping on the smoothie train, I have also discovered that I’m digging lemon based vinaigrette‘s – especially on kale salads! The acidity helps break down the toughness of the leaves, making the whole salad taste that much better. The lemon seeds and pulp, however, are driving me a bit crazy.

In my Christmas stocking this year, though, I got this mini citrus juicer and salad making has become so much more enjoyable. Love this little kitchen tool. It’s easy to store and easy to wash. Read on to learn more.

classic last minute stocking stuffer idea

Every year I get a new set of socks in my stocking at Christmas. It sounds like a really unoriginal (maybe even boring) idea but it’s one of my favourite things! I wear them immediately and spend the rest of Christmas morning warm and cozy, occasionally sliding around on the hardwood floors. Love this classic Canadian pair!
