looking for a wing chair?

windowshopoct08 text looking for a wing chair?

If I could wave a magic wand and add another 10 square feet to my wee apartment, the first thing I’d rush out to buy would be a wing chair. Hands down.

As a pretty voracious reader, the thought of sinking into the embrace of a cozy wing chair with a great book, cup of tea at my side, is absolute heaven.

In last October’s “Window Shopping” column for Style At Home magazine (above), I pulled together a sampling of the amazing array of wing chair styles to choose from; but as always, there wasn’t quite enough room on page to showcase them all. enduring elegance

gold cropped 01 enduring eleganceBabs has done it again. Barbara Barry’s new Enduring Elegance home fabric collection for Kravet Contract reflects her signature style – sensible, understated chic in a soothing palette –  in all its glory. I admire how Barbara constantly finds inspiration and beauty in the everyday items around her, whether it’s a pair of shears or a paperweight. And as these are contract fabrics, it means they’ll withstand the test of time – ideal for high-traffic areas in the home.
