Now that I’ve found an eco-friendly bug repellent that works (see my post from a few days back), entertaining and eating outdoors is no problem, and these attractive solar lanterns from Restoration Hardware light up the night beautifully.

They’re made from weather-resistant cast aluminum and you can either hang them or put them in the ground with the stake that’s provided, plus they come with a switch, unlike many solar lights, so you can turn them on and off as needed. If you love that whole raw wood thing, check out this stunning ensemble from Restoration Hardware. I’m drooling, simply drooling over the look of this whole room and its Belgian aesthetic.

The Trestle table is made of 2½”-thick pieces of pine salvaged from a distillery in Great Britain, and comes complete with all sorts of character-enhancing dents and dings. The Wine Barrel chandelier is handmade from reclaimed French oak wine barrels hoops and staves.
