I’ve been seeing a lot of metal side chairs recently that meld edgy, industrial chic with flea market charm. They conjure up vignettes of powdery, exposed brickwork dotted with wild and unkempt ivy and potted greens; something you might find in the cobwebby corner of an ancient conservatory, rich with atmosphere and history.

I love the burnished copper finish of this piece: a bit of warmth that takes off some of the industrial edge.

Not sure if I could live with these chairs for two long in my home but would be a fun piece for a while.
Just saw The September Issue last night, and was most excited at the peek it afforded of Anna Wintour’s office at Vogue! These are the very thrones she uses at her desk… A surprising choice of office chair, but I can’t imagine she sits for long periods at her desk, as she’s rather a busy lady by the looks of things.
