Nice ocean shades on those glass- and porcelain- ware. The shell mirror, the harbour lanterns. I can imagine a nautical- concept home decor already. For good measure, add blown up photographic prints of jellyfish, leafy sea dragon or coral mushroom on canvas. http://www.splashposters.com/wildlife-posters.php
The nautical theme does seem more popular than usual this year, but here in Calgary it doesn't strike me as an authentic (or practical) decor style the way it would be in Vancouver or Halifax; plus our summers are so darned short it would quickly look out of place in any Calgary home when the first snow arrives in September. And as with any decorating "theme" I think it's important to remember that less is more - nautical/seaside always seems to be one style that is too easy to go overboard with (pun intended)!
