Ultra-modern, these curtains will lend a vertical effect to the room in addition to a clean, angular look. Made from yarn-dyed cotton so the black stripes will not bleed after washing.
"a high-contrast scheme like black and white is busy and not conducive to sleep, so it's best to use it on surfaces that you don't see while you're trying to fall asleep."
I am curious about this comment. When I go to sleep I usually have my eyes closed so I don't understand why this was made as an important note. I was curious as well by the following comment "- which gives you three different looks. Also, when you tire of the black and white theme -- and trust me, you will -- the white items will still be fabulous and blend with any new scheme."
Since I am considering the use of black and white through out my new home I would like to know more about that comment, for instance has the author found this to be true just in her own experience or has she heard from many others who used this theme? I don't want to make that kind of mistake if I will tire of it quickly.
Thanks,
neakybird
I plan to have black and white with pink accents for my craft/sewing room.
This will always keep me feeling fresh and uncluttered so I can concentrate on the project at hand.
