Reinterpreted many times over, the original moulded-plastic sidechair was introduced by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1948 and became an instant icon for its cradling contours, smooth waterfall edges and intricate “Eiffel” base. It is a lovely occasional chair.
