"I started with the black mirror, but I didn’t want too striking a contrast between it and the white chest, so I tempered it with black-and-white plaid accents," says Samantha. To prevent the vignette from looking too boxy, a globe and shapely trophy lamp bookend the display, giving it balance and interest.
