Refresh the beat-up covers of well-read tomes with pretty paper. Use different patterns to distinguish subjects, like poetry and drama, or collected works, such as Dickens and Twain. Label only the front covers for a clean look. If it drives you crazy to leave the spines unidentified, label them instead, using simple ivory stickers.
To create a custom dust jacket, trim paper to a size slightly larger than the open book cover plus a bit more for the flaps. Fold the long edges to size, then tuck the cover into the flaps.

Georgeous shelves, i'd like to have one of them.
I was very bored with my shelf arrangement but an issue of Style at Home inspired me to update it. I now have stylish shelves!
