mini makeovers at the brimfield antiques market

The Style at Home team attended the Brimfield Antique and Collectibles Show earlier this month and if you were following along on Facebook or Twitter, then you got a behind-the-scenes look at our lovely ladies at work and a sneak peek at what the market had to offer. Our talented design team sniffed out some great finds and then put their skills to use by giving four items quick and easy, no-muss, no-fuss makeovers, using various shades of white paint from Benjamin Moore. Here's a look: Originally brass, these candlesticks got a quick swipe of white paint for an updated, refreshed look. A touch of gold lacquer adds visual interest to the base. This frame was painted white and completed with vintage-look wallpaper. A bit of white paint on the handle and lid of this Nantucket basket make it instantly feel more summery. Our design team loved the bamboo frame of this tray. They painted it white, then laid some lace on the glass tray and spraypainted it white as well. Voila! A whole new look! What do you think of these easy makeovers?
