I just interviewed Toronto-based designer Laura Stein for our 20 Questions series and she shared some insight into her design inspiration and provided her thoughts on the easiest way to update a room and her current paint colour obsession. She also shared some photos of her work and this one caught my eye instantly. I LOVE this room and it's unusual use of colour. Taupe walls with the moldings and chair rails painted out and a periwinkle ceiling ... It's dramatic, it's gorgeous and it's totally unexpected. What do you think? Would you paint your ceiling a colour like this? Before seeing this photo, I would have said 'no'. Now, I'm an emphatic 'yes!'
