Shed some light on industrial charm with the Jieldé lamp. Wish upon a Wegner
Among the titans of mid-century modern design, Danish designer Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007) was best known for his chairs. Indeed, this chief of chairs created some 500 seats that are reigned by chic simplicity and functionality, and his iconic Wishbone chair, designed in 1949, is no exception.

From the legs to the seats to the backs, Hans J. Wegner paid attention to every diminutive detail of his chairs. “The chair is the thing that is closest to people,” said Wegner, “so it is important that its detailing is in order. I feel details as much as I see them. People touch the furniture – they see with their hands.”
