cat's crafts: diy vintage winterscape

Only got 5 minutes? Well, this craft is for you. It's quick and easy, and you just need a few things: a glass cheese dome (a cloche or an upside-down vase set on a plate will do, too), a few white mini bottle brush trees (you can find these at craft supply stores like Michaels), loose fake snow and an old-school car (this one's actually an ornament from Pottery Barn). Scatter a layer of snow on the plate first, set the car in place on one side of the plate and then snuggle the trees right behind it. You may have to move the snow around a bit so that the trees stand up straight. Place the glass dome on top and voila! A whimsical indoor winterscape. I set this on the table in my entryway for a festive touch!
