Whip up this simple smoked trout spread for a quick appetizer your guests will love.
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 5 oz smoked trout
1 In a mixing bowl, stir together the cream cheese, chives, lemon zest and juice until well combined.
2 Discard any skin and bones from the trout and flake with a fork. Add the trout to the cream cheese mixture, stirring until combined but still chunky.
3 Transfer the spread to a serving dish. Serve with baguette toasts, thin crisps and bread sticks.
