Donna Hay's roasted garlic bruschetta

Three easy steps is all it takes to make this delicious appetizer by Donna Hay.

Ingredients

  • Head of garlic
  • Olive oil
  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • Basil leaves
  • 8 tomato slices
  • Salt & pepper

Directions
1 Cut the top off of the head of garlic and drizzle with olive oil. Wrap in foil and barbecue for 20-30 minutes.

2 Squeeze the cooked garlic out of the cloves. Spread garlic onto sourdough bread that has been brushed with garlic, then barbeque.

3 Top with sliced tomato and basil leaves. Sprinkle with sea salt and pepper. Drizzle with olive oil.

Serves 4.
