Home renovation: Inspired by red

Over the quarter century, the Grace home has boasted several looks (including a 48-hour pastel phase that Barbara playfully recalls as “a definite error”). But Barbara’s love of casual comfort and vibrant colours was the impetus for this latest transformation, which, she says, is her hands-down favourite. Indeed, when the couple were newlyweds they decorated their apartment in a similar colour scheme of red and white. “We’ve come full circle,” she says with a laugh.
