This neglected west coast vintage modern home was love at first sight for the new homeowners.
When a realtor says "Come and build your dream home" in reference to an old abode, you can be pretty sure that the house is a teardown. But when Brian Sevy and Michael Richardson scoped out this place in Delta, B.C., they thought the opposite. They wanted to save the circa 1967 house and bring it back to its original glory, before someone else ripped it down. "It was worn out," says Brian (left).

Although the house was in serious disrepair, Brian and Michael, a designer, loved the cross of midcentury and west coast modern style. They recognized its unique potential, and bought it the day they saw it.
