We put our noses to the test to sniff out the best scents for your home.

"Strong, unnatural scents make my head hurt and I was honestly afraid of this Febreeze number, but it's not as bad as I thought. I let it burn for about 15 minutes in my small apartment, which was enough to cause a small headache but not too much. While you can definitely smell an undercut of 'Febreeze', it's a sweet-spicy scent and not as overpowering as the unlit candle suggests. If I had a musky basement or garage, or had smelly dogs that company may not find appealing, I know this would get rid of the smell while they were visiting (but I'd take a precautionary Advil beforehand)."
