"It reminds me of homes in Europe, where different chairs are pulled up from all over the house when company comes," says Herma. The large trumeau mirror has a regal look, with its softly painted finish and carved swag; at night, it reflects the sparkle from glass candlesticks on the sideboard and an old chandelier Herma painted white.
