Christmas tree card
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: beginner 

You ’ll need:

• Scissors
• Various widths of green ribbon
• Glue stick
• Small piece of brown ribbon
• Hot glue gun
• Small decorative buttons

1. Cut a length of thick green ribbon to create the bottom branch of your Christmas tree. Cut smaller and smaller lengths from the various widths of ribbon to create branches that will form a triangular shape.

2. Use a glue stick to glue green ribbon into the shape of a Christmas tree. Glue the small piece of brown ribbon at the base of the tree for the trunk.

3. Use a hot glue gun to stick on decorative buttons to form the ornaments.

Star of David card
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: intermediate  

You ’ll need:

• Pencil
• Ruler
• Card stock
• Embroidery needle
• Embroidery thread, two different colours

1. Use a pencil and ruler to lightly draw a Star of David (or any other simple holiday motif) onto your card stock.

2. Use an embroidery needle and thread to stitch along the lines, being careful to evenly space the stitches. If desired, use different coloured thread to add visual interest.
