These homemade decorated matchbaoxes make a great parting gift for you next holiday hosting gig.

My husband and I collect matchboxes from places all over the world. For this craft, use matchboxes you have collected through the years, or purchase sustainably made ones. They make a perfect parting gift on their own or paired with a votive candle.

Materials
• Assorted matchboxes
• Nontoxic glue
• Scraps of wrapping paper or tissue paper
• Sequins, bits of ribbon, tiny seashells, or other found items

Instructions
Place a bit of glue on one side of the matchbox and decorate with paper, sequins, ribbon, or other items. Be careful not to let the glue drip onto the edges of the box where you strike the matches. Let dry completely.
