Designer Nam Dang-Mitchell designs a rustic master ensuite for a model home.
Taking a cue from old-world European country homes, designer Nam Dang-Mitchell designed this 10-by-12-foot master ensuite – part of a
luxurious model home for Calgary builder Mission Homes – with plenty of
masculine chic sophistication. A palette of moody neutrals pulled from the travertine on the floor and in the shower and an aged, collected look thanks to a weathered wood mirror, an antiqued gold shelving unit and bronze hardware also imparts a rusticity that belies the brand new space.
VanityDesigner Nam Dang-Mitchell designed an arched backsplash with wall-mounted bronze faucets in keeping with the European sensibility. The X-front vanity doors are a nod to
French Country style and the eye-catching octagonal mirror of weathered wood continues the aged theme.
