Before and After
Faced with a tiny second-floor room with just a bidet and tub (the toilet and sink were downstairs), the four friends quickly transformed a cramped bedroom into a luxurious bath. Now, French-influenced honey-toned paint coats the walls, while Canadian country accents in beadboard and double sinks call to mind the best of both worlds.
An unfitted farmhouse bureau provides fitting storage for the room, while keeping the look spare and clean. Double sinks cater to individual guests’ needs.
The cramped bedroom had one thing going for it—a big window with shutters. In its new incarnation, the window just accentuates the bright, airy space.
