Bathroom trend 1: Ultramodern meets oversized baroqueOrnate moulding and panelling, a huge mirror with a detailed frame: These elements soar style-wise when paired with the lines of a modern bathtub. The look is made sophisticated with the strategic use of paint -- white for the trim and a soft gray for the walls. For paint colours, try Benjamin Moore CC-40 for a classic trim colour, and a clay-based low-VOC gray by Farrow & Ball.

I wish to paint our bathroom vanity black. It currently, has a wood finish. What are the steps I should follow in order that the black looks 'rich'?

First, sand down any finish that's on the wood. Spray a primer on the wood, let it dry, then spray the colour you want it to be. Using a spray gives it a nice, even finish.
What F&B gray is used in this baroque/modern bathroom?
Where could the White Floating Vanity set be bought? I've looked and looked for this style online everywhere. No luck. This is the one for me.
Hi DebbieandMarvin! The floating vanity can be found at The Home Depot: http://www.homedepot.ca/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CatalogSearchResultView?D=913094&Ntt=913094&catalogId=10051&langId=-15&storeId=10051&Dx=mode+matchallpartial&Ntx=mode+matchall&recN=0&N=0&Ntk=P_PartNumber
I see a trend in removing barriers and building the shower as a curbless wet room or level access shower. We are getting lots of emails and how to questions from people all over North America on how we build ours. Clean lines and high end channel drains help introduce large scale tile into shower floors and if you splurge for a little Chromotherapy LED Shower fixture you really have a home spa.
