Polished and pretty balcony design.
Turn a tiny balcony into an outdoor living space that is ready for entertaining.
Perched 28 storeys above street level, the balcony off Tim Lam’s condo offers a great view of the Toronto city skyline. But with a busy job in the finance industry and an active design blog to attend to, Tim needed a completely low-maintenance plan to keep the balcony ready for entertaining.
Polished casual outdoor space
A DIY outdoor rug, wood-slat flooring and faux greenery warm up the brick-and-concrete backdrop. The irregular shape of the 98-square-foot space creates a cozy configuration for the resin wicker seating arrangement.
Casual outdoor comfort
Crisp grey and white patterns mingle with fresh blue and yellow ones on the seat and throw pillows. Choice accessories in the same colour scheme provide a finished look to the tiny balcony space. Colourful patterned toss cushions and crisp decor accessories in a pulled-together palette lend the space a polished indoor-outdoor aesthetic.
