one of a kind spring show & sale - part two

I’m sharing my top 8 fave discoveries from the One of a Kind Spring Show & Sale, over two posts. Did you miss the first one? Check it out right here. Let’s wrap things up today with my final 4 picks…   1. Avril Loreti Avril’s work is clearly an expression of her own personality… Bright, energetic and fun. Her booth was definitely hard to miss. It was positively bursting with colour and pattern. I was drawn in by her geometric pillows & held captive by her playful tea towels. Don’t be surprised to see us collaborate in the future.   2. Stavros Stavros, a Toronto-based artist, was the talk of the show. His corner booth drew loads of attention. It was difficult to not stop and admire his colourful abstract and soothing figurative pieces. Because music is a great source of inspiration to Stavros, he describes his paintings as “a symphony of light and colour”.   3. Foutu Tissu Now that spring has sprung, our attention is turning towards our outdoor living spaces. Foutu Tissu’s fun & functional outdoor seating collection is perfect for patio lounging on lazy summer days. Not in the market for outdoor wares? Pick up a throw pillow or ottoman, available in the same punchy prints.   4. Coy Clothes Apparel brand, Coy Clothes, expanded their line to include throw pillows for the spring show. Many of their mechanical, vintage prints have been applied to upholstery fabric and sewn into truly unique pillows. If you’ve been searching for guy-friendly throw cushions, look no further.   Lia Fagan is an interior designer & the creative force behind Mod Pieces, an online boutique, specializing in restyled vintage lighting. When she’s not in her studio, she’s offering up tips for how to “design outside the lines” on her blog, Mod Nest.
