store spotlight: the jacaranda tree

If you are ever in the Mt.Pleasant and Eglinton area of Toronto, I encourage you to pop into one of my favourite little stores, The Jacaranda Tree. It is my go-to store for hostess gifts if I am attending an event, or looking for a perfect gift for a family member or girlfriend. What I love about the store is that it mixes items that are manufactured present day, with antiques. The result is a little shop that is bursting with must-haves for your home. From vintage china, body lotion, furniture on the second floor, and linens, this little store is filled with beautiful pieces.
I can pretty much guarantee that you will find something perfect to give as a gift, or to add some character to your own home. And, to make it even more wonderful - the service is absolutely delightful. All of the right ingredients for a perfect little shop to visit. 1 Ritz Spoons $6.95 (How cute for an afternoon tea?) 2 Carafe and items perfect for a vanity 3 Vintage Mirrors line the staircase to the second floor, one in foreground 25" x 29", $195. 4 Lamp, $199 (on sale) 5 Vintage China, mix and match for a creative table setting in your dining room (assorted prices). Jacaranda Tree 569 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, ON M4S 2M5 (416) 482-6599 Lindsay Stephenson is one of our guest bloggers, who has her eye on all things fabulous in Toronto.
