When most people think of home makeovers they tend to think in terms of whole renovations. But updating your decor can be as simple as painting your walls or installing a new pendant light. My own home is in constant "makeover" mode (no surprise, right?). It was originally renovated in the 1980s during the "colour! glitz! glam!" era, and when my husband and I bought it four years ago I thought there was something fabulous about all that excess. Ultimately, though, it was time for a change. Fortunately, this issue is packed with great ideas, from kitchen to bathroom to basement!
