Project: Interior door panel
The last time we decorated a door we were in junior high, and believe us, it wasn’t pretty. But with their vertical, unadorned faces, doors offer an irresistible blank canvas for wallpaper. Regardless of what paper you choose, it’s guaranteed to look better than that New Kids on the Block collage did.
Wallpaper paste and brush
1 Measure the interior of your door and transfer the measurements to the back side of your wallpaper.
2 Cut out the paper for your door panel using a utility knife and metal ruler as your guide.
3 Apply paste to the wallpaper, and adhere it to your door.
4 Smooth down the paper with a brush and remove any air bubbles with a plastic float.
5 Wipe off any excess paste with a damp sponge.
