It is the dated transitional Toronto home designed by Sloan Mauran: Classic elegance.
The staircase itself was opened up during the home renovation to create flow on the main floor, as well as visual impact -- thanks to, in part, the monochromatic Greek key patterned stair runner. While the rest of the home's interior design maintains a sophisticated and elegant air, this textile adds a hit of modern appeal and trendiness. What do you think of the staircase - yay OR nay?
