John Legend, respected musician, entrepreneur and activist, is as equally at home collaborating with young talent as he is cultivating beautiful living spaces.
As a longtime champion for marginalized voices, Legend has brought together his varied interests in a partnership with Etsy that celebrates the work of women, Black and underrepresented sellers. Included in the collab are basket weavers working in the same technique used in the 1700s by enslaved rice farmers who had brought their weaving traditions from Africa to South Carolina. The commendable collection spans 11 different shops and five countries, and comprises clothing, decor pieces, and even furniture pieces.
