What's new in the design world? From freshly-launched furniture collections to innovative tech for your home, this is everything we're shopping right now.
FRESH FROM FRAÎCHE
Designer and cookbook author Tori Wesszer’s eagerly anticipated second Fraîche holiday collection has arrived at Walmart. “This collection is inspired by my own cherished holiday memories,” Tori recently told us, saying it blends “nostalgia and timeless style with a touch of French-inspired elegance and modern sparkle to bring warmth, joy and magic into Canadian homes, year after year.” Some of our faves from the line—notable for being high on style and charm but affordable enough to splurge on—include pretty floral blue and white dinnerware (so French!); mugs with a holiday house motif, complete with tiny wreaths; and, new for this year, a 7½ foot LED spruce tree.

MUD-ERN CLASSIC
Iconic ceramics maker Mud Australia has arrived in Canada with an exclusive “shop-inshop” at Toronto’s Hopson Grace flagship store. Founded in 1994, the Australian company is renowned not just for the beauty of their subtle, Modernist-inspired Limoges porcelain homewares but also for the thought that goes into their manufacture: each handcrafted piece is made using sustainable materials and methods, and coloured with the company’s signature pigments.
Mud Australia, Porcelain Ceramics, $28 to $1,890
Sunday(s) Kind of Love
The new Hetta collection from Sundays pays homage to the warmth and craftsmanship of furniture of the past, with a focus on comfort and easygoing style. The name Hetta comes from the name Etta, Old English for “keeper of the hearth,” with an H added as a nod to “home.” Inspired by vintage designs, the heirloom-style pieces, which range from sofas and armchairs to tables and beds, easily slip into both traditional and modern settings and are made to be loved now and handed down in the future.
Sundays, Hetta Furniture Collection, $350 to $5,200
