friday happy hour: sangria

Since there’s nothing quite like a boozy drink to warm you up at the end of a long work week, I’d like to share a cocktail recipe each Friday for the next month or so. Next up: sangria. Best enjoy on a sunny patio, it's also a great option when you're hosting a crowd, since it can be made in large quantities. This version from the Style at Home archives is made with rosé wine and limoncello – a sweet and refreshing combination. I'd like to make it for an Academy Awards viewing party this Sunday. Pink summer sangria: 1 bottle rosé wine, 3 peaches, 2 cups chopped watermelon, 2 tbsp limoncello, 2 cups sparkling lemonade, 2 cups crushed ice. The key here is letting the fruit, wine and limoncello sit for a few hours to infuse, then adding the sparkling lemonade and crushed ice. P.S. More cocktail recipes HERE.
