Bud vases

These bud vases look the same from a distance, but get a little closer and you’ll notice the differences: The high features underglazed porcelain and delicate detailing done by a Brooklyn-based artisan; the low is an old faithful – a staple you should always have on hand – made of inexpensive opaque glass, yet still full of class.

Hooks and coat racks

Make the most of a small entryway sans a coat closet with rustic and animal-inspired hooks and branch-like coat racks. The shapely hooks shown above add a wink of wilderness while being wildly useful for hanging keys, coats, hats, leashes, scarves and shopping bags. Also as functional as they are sculptural, the coat racks shown below infuse an artistic element that looks like a stylized tree. The big and chunky ones are better for a large space, whereas the slimmer-profile ones are unobtrusive in a narrower entryway. We love them because they not only make a spot to store outerwear but also bring a notion of the outdoors in. outdoor-entryway-highlow-sideboa.jpg

Featuring the classic combination that pits stark white against natural wood, these sideboards vary in look from contemporary and mid-century modern to scandichic and polished, but each would be a fresh and neutral addition to any space. though the low lacks a built-in wooden element, a selection of accessories on top would work just as well.
