Since moving to Toronto, there are a lot of Montreal food spots that I find myself really missing. On the top of my coffee shop list is Café Myriade, a quaint little store near Concordia University. In a small but cozy locale, this coffee shop carries a myriad (pun intended!) of specialty coffees and some of the best pastries I’ve had in town. The pastries are all made to be wholesome, rustic and full-flavoured. They all come from different local bakers and are delivered fresh from the oven every morning. Some of my favourites are the ones from Sweet Lee’s, a deliciously hearty bakery that supplies different stores around the city. In the midst of hectic everyday life, a welcoming and homey coffee shop really is the perfect place to take a few minutes away from a busy day and relax.
