Apple Cinnamon Latte

What’s better than a warm bevvie on a cold winter day? Indulge in this latte made with De’Longhi’s La Specialista Arte by barista Simon-Pierre Caron.

Latte Ingredients

  • 1 double espresso
  • 250 ml of milk
  • 30 ml of apple syrup
  • 1 tbsp of cinnamon

Apple Syrup Ingredients

  • 3⁄4 cup of water
  • 4 (to 5) red apples
  • 1 cup of maple syrup
  • 30 ml of lemon juice
  • 5 ml of vanilla

Prepare Apple Syrup

  1. Peel and cube apples.
  2. In a saucepan, add all ingredients and turn the heat to medium while stirring.
  3. Reduce heat to simmer, stirring constantly, for 20 minutes, or until apples are very soft.
  4. Remove from heat and blend in a blender until smooth.

Prepare the Latte

  1. In a mug, add the apple syrup.
  2. Pour the double espresso over the syrup.
  3. Mix well until smooth.
  4. Pour milk into a milk frother and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  5. Froth milk with cinnamon.
  6. Pour milk over coffee.
  7. Sprinkle the coffee with cinnamon and enjoy!
