For a winter-inspired treat, try using a snowflake cookie stamp. It will help add a subtle holiday touch to your baked goods!
Snowflake cookies
Ingredients
- sugar cookie recipe
- cookie press
Directions
1 Cut your cookies into circles the same size as your cookie stamp.
2 With a steady hand, firmly press the cookie stamp on your cookie cirlces.
3 Bake as directed.

These marshmallows are a perfect treat to make with children - with a few lollipop sticks, some velvety chocolate and festive sparkles, they are delicious and fun to eat.
Marshmallow treats
Ingredients
- 12 marshmallows
- 2 cups of bittersweet chocolate chips
- sparkles of your choice
Directions
1 Using a double boiler, melt the chocolate until smooth.
2 Place a marshmallow at the top of each lollipop stick.
3 Dip in the melted chocolate tapping off excess. Add sprinkles and leave to cool.
Makes 12 treats.
These elegant strawberries are easy to make and the perfect choice for a chic holiday dessert platter.
Chocolate-dipped strawberries
Ingredients
- 10 strawberries
- A good handful of bittersweet chocolate chips
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 1 handful of finely chopped almonds
Directions
1 Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Add the butter in small chunks. Stir once the chocolate is melted and transfer to a bowl.
2 Dip each strawberry into the warm chocolate and then into the almonds and place on a rack covered in parchment paper. Leave to set in the fridge.
Makes 10 strawberries.
Chestnut is such a festive ingredient to use during the holidays. These easy cookies start with store-bought wafers and an indulgent chestnut cream - perfect for this time of year!
Chestnut cookies
Ingredients
- 24 chocolate wafer cookies
- 1/2 cup of chestnut puree
- 2 tbsp of heavy cream
Directions
1 Lay out 12 wafer cookies on a plate or cookie sheet. In a small bowl mix the chestnut puree and cream until the mixture is homogenous.
2 Using a small spoon, add a generous dollop of the chestnut puree at the center of each of the 12 wafers. Top each with the remaining wafers.
Makes 12 cookies.
