Use citronella tea lights, and it'll keep the bugs away as well.

10 While away a hot summer afternoon in a hammock strung between a couple of trees-Huck Finn never had it this good. The Dyning hammock, new from Ikea ($29.00) comes in a range of garden-friendly colours and features a tubular powder-coated metal frame for strength and shape, and durable, washable nylon fabric.
