Now that spring has finally arrived, I'm hoping to see some of the season's first bulbs peeking through the soil. And in anticipation of that event (hopefully!) happening soon, I've come up with this list of beautiful blooms I'd love to have in my garden. Number 1 is this stunning Amber Gem hellebore, available from Garden Import. This double-flowered apricot beauty will have people stopping in their tracks. Breck's Bulbs, called Spring Cheer. Its creamy yellow colour is heavenly. I imagine them arranged in one of my vintage McCoy vases to maxium effect. The sort-of ombre colouration and fringed edges draw me right in. It also self seeds, so you'll have them in a dazzling array for years to come.
