An inexpensive, but surprisingly effective way to update your decor is simply by changing up your hardware. No matter what your style – classic and subtle or bold and graphic – you can find something to suit your decor. For something that requires multiple knobs, I like something simple and classic. Mercury glass knobs on a large dresser are more subdued than something colourful, but still add a touch of lustre.

For furniture that only requires one or two knobs, I look for something unique. Adding something like the Antler, Cameo or Rope knob will make the piece look special and make it seem as though it has a story (and aren’t those pieces always your favourite?).
