centro garden opens its doors

By:
This past Thursday, I was lucky enough to attend the VIP opening party for Centro Garden, a new living design and style store located at 437 Brant Street, in downtown Burlington, ON. I really haven’t been this excited to see a business succeed, since starting my own. Centro’s tagline, “Live Outside Inside”, is not only based on the concept of literally blending indoor and outdoor living, but also, on the concept of bringing the best of the outside world, inside, to yours. In their words, this means “placing the garden into the living room and the den on the patio for a more inspired and enriched lifestyle experience” and introducing items “made or found around the corner or around the world”. Owner Jason Pepetone and his team of creatives have been working tirelessly to execute their vision. Take a peek at the Centro Garden Blog for an insider look at what went into making the store a reality.                                         Currently, the store is outfitted with unique treasures to complement the holiday season. In the new year, you can expect to find a larger selection of home furnishings, living decor and artwork.                                         I’m in love with their uniquely designed trees, dressed in white, silver, orange and magenta. Nestled amongst the holiday displays, you may even spot a few Mod Pieces lamps!                                         The opening party drew quite a crowd. Friends and associates mingled, while sipping wine and nibbling hors d'oeuvres. Some got a head start on their holiday shopping and all offered their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Centro team. Will you be visiting Centro Garden? Lia Fagan is an interior designer & the creative mind behind Mod Pieces, an online boutique, specializing in restyled vintage lighting. When she’s not in her studio, she’s offering up tips for how to “design outside the lines” on her blog, Mod Nest.
