My style is modern. My home is decorated in a fresh and simple palette of white and grey and the lines of my furniture are decidedly clean and unfussy. I love the uncluttered look and the feeling of calm and serenity I feel when I walk through the doors of my home. But then sometimes, I see examples of elaborate, decadent design and I swoon. I start to reconsider all my design choices and am tempted to start over from scratch. I stumbled upon LaylaGrayce.com the other day and before I knew it, I had spent my entire (imaginary) bank account on a whole new look for my home, full of ornate objets, luxurious fabrics and Louis XV lavishness. Here's what caught my eye: Eloquence One of a Kind Vintage Armchair Louis XV Icy Sage Set of 2, $2,200 Eloquence One of a Kind Vintage Full Bed Tufted Off White, $1,980 Eloquence One of a Kind Antique Mirror Provence Floral, $9,900 Eloquence One of a Kind Vintage Settee Louis XV Pale Cream, $1,540 What do you think of decorating your home with elaborately decadent pieces like these? Of course for me, this exercise requires me to close my eyes and pretend that money is no object ... but if that were the case - I think I could get used to a home decorated like a palace fit for a queen! What's your design style?
