Flying has become a necessary evil to many of us; a means to an end that's something to be endured rather than enjoyed. Porter Airlines, however, is out to change that. I had the chance to fly Porter last week when an assignment called me to Montreal, and I've got to say I'm still stunned at how absolutely incredible my entire experience was. Flying from the idyllic Toronto City Centre Airport, accessible only by ferry (so charming!), to the comfy lounge (see image above; stocked with complimentary bevvies!), to the excellent check-in and in-flight service, Porter really is a class act. And the prices are fantastic - in some cases, rivaling train fare.
