Of course we love everything Canadian sweetheart Jillian Harris does and her Pinterest account is no exception. Follow Jillian for design ideas (natch!) but also get a close-up look at some of her favourite looks, from vintage to rustic Italian to cozy cabin style. Plus, since she’s expecting her first child, you’ll also get a look at her nursery decor style and baby fashion, too!
Eden Passante of Sugar and Charm has one of the most delightful Pinterest accounts you’ll find. Her ‘For the Home’ board features over 7,000 pins with stunning decorating and design ideas and before you know it, you’ll have jumped down the rabbit hole and forgotten all about dinner. Eden is also an incredibly talented baker and DIY-er, whose gorgeous creations accomplish just what she sets out to do: Add charm to everyday life.
Meg’s design boards are broken down by room and each board shows off her penchant for simple, understated design choices. You’ll find lots of black and white with only a few pops of colour throughout; the room photos she pins are soft and serene, the ultimate spaces for rest and relaxation.
Holly Becker of Decor8 is considered one of the pioneers of design blogs, having launched hers in 2004, well before the Internet was flooded with them. But it’s no surprise that she quickly became one of the leading voices on design; her eye for details that make the ordinary extraordinary has earned her a reputation as a design doyenne to watch. Her Pinterest account is a carefully curated collection of images and ideas about design, food and DIY but some of her boards get far more granular, like the ones specifically on ceramics or product packaging.
Victoria Smith pens the blog SF Girl By Bay and describes herself as a blogger, photographer, photo stylist, design junkie and bonafide flea market queen. SF Girl By Bay is a leading west coast design blog and her work has been featured in numerous publications including Domino, Architectural Digest, Gourmet and Bon Appetit. Look to her Pinterest account for 148 boards (at the time of publication) for some serious design inspo. We’re particular fans of her boards dedicated to specific colours.
Board after board of pretty, pale pastels are the first thing you’ll notice on Jacquelyn Clark’s Pinterest account. Most of her boards feature interior design ideas but peppered throughout, you’ll also find food, fashion and travel. But our favourite? It’s her ‘Vignettes’ board, which features endless ideas about how to style a vignette in a forgotten corner or overlooked space in your home.
If you’ve ever checked out Monika’s site MonikaHibbs.com or followed her on Instagram, then you know that she just oozes style and sophistication. And her Pinterest account is no different. Monika brings style and sophistication to everything – décor, food and fashion in particular. Her Pinterest boards are a visual delight, especially if you love white, gold and blush, a timeless colour combo that you’ll learn how to use to great effect.
Em Henderson’s design strength, she says on her blog, is mixing eclectic styles on a moderate budget. She’s a spokesperson for Target so knows a little something about creating a home you love without breaking the bank. Her Pinterest boards feature a mix of high and low finds that come together to create an achievable style. But we love her ‘My Home’ board, which pulls back the curtain and gives us a sneak peek into Em’s home, her style, her favourite rooms, products and more.
Montreal-based Gabrielle Savoie of Savvy Home describes her blog as “an online decor destination influenced by a love for the coastal lifestyle, mixed with the tradition and comfort of American design.” As such, her Pinterest boards feature a gorgeous mix of original and curated photography showing off some of the best coastal design – from the Hamptons to Palm Beach.
With over one million followers on Pinterest, you can bet that Justina Blakeney is doing something right! Unlike many of the other Pinterest accounts we’ve featured, which favour soft, subtle and mostly neutral colour palettes in their interior design, Justina’s account is alive with pattern and colour. And if you love her style so much that you want to bring some of it home with you, you can! She’s recently launched a new line of wallpaper with Hygge and West.
