Look of the week: Pastels

By: Natalie Bahadur
Pastels aren’t just for babies rooms. Pale pastel colours can have a decidedly grown-up and sophisticated feeling when used just right. "For a soothing room, use pastels exclusively as your palette," says designer Lisa Canning. "Keep it interesting by varying the textures in the space -- velvets, metallics, linens and lacquer all in pastels will look rich and regal."

Rings Printed Twisted Sheer
These light sheers, featuring a pale and pretty ring pattern in turquoise are a beautiful way to add a hint of colour to the bedroom. Consider layering these curtains to create a more dramatic look and for better privacy.
