2013 cookie swap: Doug's shortbread cookies
- 2 cups butter
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 3 cups flour
1 Using a mixer blend ingredients in order one at a time until blended.
2 Drop teaspoonful sizes of the shortbread dough mixture on to a cookie sheet
3 Bake at 325F for 15 to 20 minutes.
4 Add dry candied fruit if desired.
