For the ultimate in indulgence, the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel in Toronto's theatre and entertainment district is the place to be. For a SoHo Metropolitan Hotel look in your home, begin with a vinyl grasscloth wallcovering, available at local paint and wallpaper stores. If you prefer a flat wall, simply borrow the colour -- Benjamin Moore's Flax, 2098-50. For the beautiful headboard wall, purchase a padded headboard and have a contractor or woodworker build out around it. Dress the bed with a tone on tone sheet set and cashmere throw. And don't forget a few essential accessories to complete the room, such as a metal-base table lamp and a black frame for your favourite black-and-white photograph.
