Love these especially because all tips are on 1 page. Thanks
Love those suggestions, especially using vertical space. I am planning a move to a small condo so have been doing a lot of sorting. It seems hard to let go of some of the stuff but after donating and having a big yard sale I feel good. I know that maybe someone else will be able to make better use out of some of the stuff than me. I don't even remember a lot of it and I feel like a weight has been lifted. I take pictures of some of the sentimental things so that I will still have it to look at but don't have to worry about trying to jam too much 'stuff' into a small condo. I can breath. Thanks again for all the different ideas.
where can I purchase the shelving system in the picture?
One more thing I'm telling everyone to get rid of: MASSIVE, COUNTER SPACE HOGGING KNIFE BLOCKS! I got and have now given out "KNIFAWAY" knife holders to all my friends and family this Christmas (they are very inexpensive and so neat yet totally convenient!). This unique and brilliant yet super simple kitchen knife storage idea has got me totally converted. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, it is anti-clutter, streamlined and practical, I love it and it has been a hit with everyone to whom I've offered one so I say OUT WITH knife blocks and IN WITH KNIFAWAY for a sleek counter and a functional kitchen!
Where can I purchase the KNIFAWAY? I have a knifeblock that my hubby decided he could improve upon....(it didn't). He added more slots for more knives so made it BIGGER!! I know he meant well but I don't have that much counter space as it is! Thanks
Knikaway can be only purchased on line at http://knifeholder.net/
This is just what I needed to help me with my resolution of keeping clutter out of my living space!
Thankyou for the comments about things to get rid of. I live by this rule of thumb: don't handle a piece of paper twice. File it, or recycle. Having a file system at home makes all the difference in the world to having order in your life and mind.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the information on Knifaway. I have just ordered one, having thrown out my old ugly block knife holder. I think I will order some more for my two daughters and my sister. Helen - Toronto
When getting rid of items consider joining one of the many freecycle groups - check them out on yahoo groups. You can post a message offering items out for free and interested parties will come by and get them. Even broken items are valuable to someone who can fix them.

Love how this list is short and easy to implement immediately. The Knifaway is a great idea too - less counter top clutter.
